Key Responsibilities:- Drive compliance with health, safety and environmental standards throughout a large-scale renewable energy project.

This exciting project aims to enhance regional energy security and stability within the power grid, supporting Australia's transition to net-zero emissions through the implementation of a state-of-the-art Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
In this role, you will deliver essential HSE services and advice, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project. You will collaborate closely with project teams, developing and implementing HSE plans, conducting risk assessments specific to the BESS, and promoting a culture of Zero Harm.

What You'll Do:- Provide HSE advice to achieve project and corporate objectives while supporting a culture of Zero Harm.
- Conduct regular HSE audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance HSE knowledge and awareness among project teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure effective management of HSE processes.
- Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, recommending improvements to prevent recurrence.
As an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Advisor, you have a proven track record in developing project HSE plans and innovative solutions to complex problems.
You have a strong background in construction and/or operational plant-based experience, with knowledge of behavioural-based HSE management programs.
Accreditation to conduct audits within an industrial workplace is desirable, along with BESS construction or maintenance experience at a commercial or utility scale level.
