This position plays a critical role in supporting our business to deliver consulting services that meet the highest standards of health and safety responsibility.

The role offers a unique combination of responsibility, stakeholder engagement and implementation of initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Assisting delivery of HSE teams' action plans and implementing Australian HSE initiatives">
  • Identifying legal requirements and monitoring legislative changes for compliance within State">
  • Supporting maintenance of HSE Registers for South Australia">
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining project or state HSE processes/procedures to supplement the existing HSE management system">
  • Managing Health and Safety (AS/NZ 4801/ISO 45001) certification process for South Australia">
  • Managing COVIDSafe activities for operation in South Australia">
  • Maintaining and delivering South Australian specific HSE inductions and coordinating specialised HSE training">

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • ">
  • A Diploma/Advanced Diploma or higher in a Health and Safety related discipline supported by a minimum of 7 years' experience">
  • Experience working in a remote team environment">
  • Strong ability to effectively work with multiple stakeholders and influence at different levels of an organisation to improve safety culture and performance">
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on HSE initiatives and undertaking HSE inspections and incident investigations">
  • An ability to exercise sound judgement and decisiveness with problem solving">
  • Delivering HSE training and presentations">
  • Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel">
  • Auditor qualifications are desirable">
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills, including consultation and negotiation, presentation skills">
