Job Overview

This is a critical role within our organization, requiring an individual with expertise in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and promote a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of EHS principles, regulations, and industry standards. They will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and training to teams to maintain a high level of safety performance.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective EHS programs, procedures, and policies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide EHS training and campaigns to internal clients and teams, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure EHS compliance and promote a workplace culture that values safety and well-being.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of EHS data management systems, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • A degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in EHS roles, particularly in industries with high standard requirements such as oil and gas.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, international standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences on EHS matters.
  • English language proficiency at a professional working level.
