Behaviour Support Practitioner Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values exceptional clinical expertise within Behaviour Support.

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will support participants by acting as an advocate and role model, evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans, and building the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those who support participants in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop meaningful goals and practical strategies utilizing a positive behaviour support framework
  • Deliver evidence-based support plans that cater to the unique needs of each participant
  • Build relationships with participants, family members, carers, and other stakeholders to provide holistic support

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional (OT/Speech/Social Work)
  • Experience creating, implementing and reviewing behaviour support plans
  • Core, Proficient, advanced or specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
