We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our team in Townsville, QLD. As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will provide mobile case management support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or at-risk of homelessness.
About the RoleYou will operate from a strength-based framework to promote social inclusion, human rights, participation, and consumer choice. The role involves working with clients who have complex needs, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Sound casework experience, including holistic assessments and case planning;
- Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients at risk of homelessness;
- Experience in working competently with staff and clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds;
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills;
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card);
- Australian drivers license.
This is a casual hourly position with an estimated salary of $43.09 per hour + superannuation + access to salary packaging up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for holiday accommodation and meals.
