Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Costco Wholesale. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise in our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate receipt and storage of merchandise.
- Coordinate and schedule daily activities to meet business objectives and deadlines.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff to improve their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
- Proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity in a warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, business, or related field preferred.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires working in a warehouse environment with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.
