Job Title: Area Manager, Outside School Hours Care

Job Summary:

Extend is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a cluster of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services in NSW and ACT. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing remote teams, with a strong focus on people management and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools, overseeing all aspects of service management, including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams.
  • Conduct Educator appraisals and build and maintain excellent relationships with Educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers.
  • Prepare and support Educators for Assessment and Rating reviews, and provide training to Educators face-to-face at the service.

Requirements:

  • Past people management experience is a strong advantage, with demonstrated area management or remote team management experience being favourable.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships internally and externally, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A current NSW/ACT Working with Children's check, or willingness to obtain, and a current driver's license and own car (travel allowance provided).
