Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team in a state-of-the-art facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory investigations and tests by applying established methods and procedures, as directed.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct manual and automated laboratory investigations and tests by applying established methods and procedures, as directed.
- Undertake other laboratory duties including preparation of materials and maintenance of equipment in line with established laboratory processes, procedures and protocols.
- A Diploma in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution with subjects relevant to pathology or medical laboratory operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of pathology services within a discipline relevant to the department, including use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems and Quality Systems.
- Ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to quality management and continuous quality improvement principles.
