Role Summary

This Human Resources Strategic Partner role is an exciting opportunity to drive business outcomes through innovative HR strategies and practices. As a key member of the Programmed team, you will work closely with senior management to develop and implement HR initiatives that support the company's growth and success.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of contemporary human resource management issues, including employment legislation, industrial awards, and agreements. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, with proven experience in engaging with staff at all levels, unions, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice on HR policies, employment legislation, and industrial agreements to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Develop and implement HR initiatives that align with the company's business objectives and goals.
  • Facilitate corporate induction and performance review processes to enhance employee performance and engagement.
  • Coordinate a learning and development program and annual training calendar focused on industry innovation and best practices.
  • Maintain positive relationships with unions, employer associations, and other stakeholders to promote effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct HR reporting to support compliance and decision-making, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Comprehensive understanding of contemporary human resource management issues, including employment legislation, industrial awards, and agreements.
  • Strong grasp of procedural fairness and its practical implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven experience in engaging with staff at all levels, unions, and other stakeholders.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. Additionally, we provide opportunities for professional development, a supportive team environment, and a comprehensive benefits package.
