Job Title: Transaction Officer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Officer to join our team at Talenza. As a key member of our Procurement Program Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of Goods & Services and Infrastructure initiatives by managing payments and transactions to a wide array of suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, check, and process contract and panel agreement payments
• Prepare and issue payment certificates in accordance with Security of Payment Act (SOPA) requirements
• Assist in the preparation of purchase order requests and amendments, variation letters, Security Deposits, and coordinate periodic Contractor Performance Reports
• Record, capture, and update data in various contract and payment related registers and systems
• Assist with end of month accruals and reporting requirements
• Utilise Procurement Systems and SAP to support contract administration duties and compliance with requirements
• Provide a central liaison point by managing and responding to internal and external stakeholder enquiries

Requirements:

• An ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Certificates or Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline
• Prior NSW Government experience is highly desirable

What You Need to Know:

• This is a 6-month contract with a chance of extension
• You will be required to attend the Parramatta office once a month if you are regionally based
• You must possess existing full working rights within Australia
