Job Title: Digital Communications Lead

This is a high-level role where you'll design and execute digital communication strategies that boost engagement, strengthen brand presence, and protect reputation.

You will oversee the development of digital communication plans aligned with organisational goals. This includes crafting content for social media, websites, newsletters, and campaigns.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver digital communication strategies in line with organisational priorities.
  • Lead content creation across various digital channels.
  • Manage press relations, including releases and briefings.
  • Monitor online activity and respond to reputational issues proactively.
  • Analyse digital metrics to provide actionable insights.
  • Maintain consistent messaging across all digital platforms.
About You:

A digitally savvy professional with strong experience in media, communications, and brand management is required. You must thrive in fast-paced environments and have a track record of delivering results through strategic communications.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in digital communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years' experience in senior communications or media roles.
  • Strong expertise in media relations, social media, and content development.
  • Proven ability to manage reputational risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to use analytics for performance improvement.
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours as needed.
