Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Digital Community Engagement Lead to join our team. As a key member of our community management team, you will be responsible for developing and executing engagement strategies across social media platforms.

Your primary goal will be to foster meaningful conversations with our online communities, analyzing trends and consumer behaviors to inform brand strategy. You will work closely with our client, a global CPG business, to understand their unique needs and develop targeted solutions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, as you will be tasked with monitoring and analyzing cultural trends, social conversations, and emerging behaviors within your assigned category. You must be able to translate these insights into actionable recommendations for brand strategy, identifying opportunities for the brand to participate in relevant cultural moments.

You will be responsible for managing brands-owned channels, representing the voice of the brand online, and embodying each brand's unique tone of voice. Your role will involve building strong engagement with communities across social media platforms, responding to comments and messages promptly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute engagement strategies across social media platforms
  • Analyze trends and consumer behaviors to inform brand strategy
  • Monitor and analyze cultural trends, social conversations, and emerging behaviors within your assigned category
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for brand strategy
  • Manage brands-owned channels and represent the voice of the brand online
  • Build strong engagement with communities across social media platforms
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience directly managing online communities, growing and engaging social media audiences, creating and executing community engagement strategies, moderating online discussions, and managing conflicts
  • Demonstrated ability to create and manage social listening dashboards using tools like Sprinklr or Meltwater
  • Demonstrable ability to create engaging written content for social media or other online platforms
  • Experience interacting with customers, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and empathetic manner
