Purpose of the Role

This role plays a pivotal part in assisting the team to drive growth and develop the profile of Scouts within the region.

This position offers administrative support for regions and volunteers with planning, delivery and measurement of initiatives.

  • Support regions and volunteers with planning, delivery and measurement of initiatives.
  • Action requests from the regional team.
  • Provide administrative support to team members as required.
  • Refer matters or reportable incidents as per policy.
  • First line communication to members and the public.
  • Answer general questions and refer questions on policy or contentious matters to appropriate personnel.
  • Cooperate with other levels of the association.

Administration:

  • Operate and maintain the online membership system.
  • Answer a wide range of queries or direct requests to other personnel as required.
  • Provide administration support to the team.
  • Provide administrative support for events and activities.

Property Management:

  • Act as first point of contact for property issues.
  • Advise as required on group property issues.
  • Refer necessary issues to the property committee or department.

Awards Administration:

  • Support Adult Recognition Awards processes in conjunction with the Member Experience Team.
  • Prepare letters of congratulation to awardees.
  • Ensure all citations, medals and certificates are in order.

Qualification, Training & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business development or office administration.
  • Experience in office administration with demonstrated business development.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder relationship management.
