About the Role

The Grade 3 Physiotherapist will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality clinical physiotherapy services to clients using advanced evidence-based practice skills.

This role requires the ability to practice as a Senior Physiotherapist, ensuring that practice is in accordance with the Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and St John of God Health Care policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to client groups and circumstances of a complex nature, requiring advanced practice skills.
  • Utilize evidence-based patient treatment outcome measures and patient feedback to ensure quality assurance activities.
  • Prioritize and delegate duties of Physiotherapy caseloads for self and supervised staff.
  • Promote professional values and ethics in clinical practice.
  • Demonstrate strong, current clinical knowledge and skills, applying them to support individuals and teams in clinical practice.
  • Lead and contribute to undergraduate student programs and training.
  • Lead and develop highly performing teams.
  • Accept responsibility for maintaining and strengthening own professional knowledge and expertise, including the maintenance of a continuing professional development portfolio.
  • Adhere to all applicable St John of God Health Care policies and guidelines.
  • Take reasonable care of oneself and others.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will hold a registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist and demonstrate advanced clinical experience and leadership in a highly specialized area of clinical practice within a healthcare setting.

Recent experience in Physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments, will be essential for this role.

  • Salary: $110,854 to $124,462 plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Fixed term full time position available for 12 months.
