About the Role

The Grade 3 Physiotherapist position at St John of God Bendigo Hospital is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical physiotherapy services to clients with complex needs, utilizing advanced evidence-based practice skills and prioritizing patient care.
  • Develop and implement research and quality improvement activities, leveraging expertise in physiotherapy services and hydrotherapy treatments.
  • Lead and contribute to undergraduate student programs and training, promoting professional values and ethics in clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure prioritization and delegation of duties, maintaining a high level of clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Adhere to St John of God Health Care policies and guidelines, taking reasonable care of oneself and others.
Requirements
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist.
  • Advanced clinical experience and leadership in a highly specialized area of clinical practice within a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in the initiation, design, and implementation of research and quality improvement activities.
  • Recent experience in physiotherapy services in relevant clinical settings, including hydrotherapy treatments.
