Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in all kitchen areas.
  • Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes or supervise others where skilled preparation is required.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs and the broader kitchen team to ensure food preparation meets quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness standards.
  • Evaluate food products to consistently meet quality standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Experience in clubs or hotels preferred.
  • Strong team player with leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality.
