Job Title: Implementation Consultant

">Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Implementation Consultant to join our team. As an Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting the Implementation Manager in achieving departmental KPIs by providing Consulting and Implementation services to clients.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define client requirements: You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and define project requirements.
  2. Provide gap analysis: Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify areas where we can improve processes and procedures.
  3. Document, build and configure solutions: Develop detailed project plans, build and configure solutions, and document all aspects of the implementation process.
  4. Partner with stakeholders: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop executable plans that meet both functional and technical work streams of the project.
  5. Communicate effectively: Communicate regularly with clients throughout the implementation lifecycle, including face-to-face, written, and verbal communication.
  6. Analyse risks and opportunities: Anticipate, identify, and analyse risks, problems, and opportunities, establishing priorities and allocating resources efficiently for resolutions.
  7. Apply project methodology: Use established project management methodologies to plan, follow up, report, and ensure quality assurance.
  8. Review progress: Review and measure progress against specified criteria and deliverables, developing corrective action as required.
  9. Display professionalism: Demonstrate high levels of customer service across all internal and external stakeholders, displaying personal integrity and professionalism in all dealings.
  10. Stay up-to-date: Act as a subject matter expert, keeping up to date with technology and legislative developments as they relate to our products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Key Requirements:
  • Strong stakeholder management: Experience in managing stakeholders, providing exceptional customer service, and consulting within an implementation or service delivery environment.
  • Implementation experience: Demonstrated experience within an implementation environment, with a strong understanding of payroll, payroll applications, time & attendance processing, and corporate enterprise reporting systems.
  • Project management: Experience with project management methodologies, with demonstrated success in previous roles.
  • Data mapping and conversion: Proven experience in data mapping, data conversion, and data integrity.
  • Interface technologies: Advanced understanding of interface technologies and data exchange between payroll and third-party systems.
  • Microsoft applications: Experience working with Microsoft applications such as MS Project, Word, and Excel.
  • Matrix organisation: Experience working within a matrix organisation, preferably for a US-owned organisation.
  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask, prioritise work, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.

Certifications / Qualifications:

Awarding Bodies:
  • Tertiary qualification: A tertiary qualification in a business-related field or Information Technology.
  • Proven experience: Proven experience in a similar role may be taken in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Project Management certification: A Project Management certification is ideal.
