We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer to design, build and maintain network security infrastructure. This individual will deliver high-quality solutions to complex problems.
The Role & The TeamThe Network & Telecommunications Platform provides secure, reliable network solutions supporting our business and operations.
The successful candidate will work closely with teams across the organisation to deliver secure network solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert support and management for secure networks and telecommunications systems.
- Support system design, planning, and implementation while investigating and resolving faults and user-reported issues.
- Prepare reports and proposals to recommend system improvements and provide technical support as needed.
- Ensure existing network systems meet internal technical, safety, and security requirements.
- 7+ years supporting complex network security with strong expertise in Network Security Gateway technologies and architecture.
- Understanding of IT security principles including Australian Government standards.
- Experience in detecting and responding to security threats with analytic tools, along with expertise in systems engineering and change control processes.
