Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll across Australia and New Zealand.

Maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations is essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Monthly and Fortnightly payrolls for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Check and approve payroll for other Oceania entities where direct payroll is not processed in house.
  • Process out of cycle payments and adjustment runs as required.
  • Process salary review, bonus payments, award increases, novated lease documentation, allowances and employee details changes.
  • Accurately calculate Cessation payments and liabilities.
  • Understand Time & Attendance System data reporting into Excel, reformatting for processing.
  • Maintain Single Touch Payroll (STP) and Inland Revenue reporting and compliance.
  • Manage awards and employment conditions, including Enterprise Agreement (EA) and National Employment Standards (NES) adherence.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 5+ years proven payroll experience.
  • Understanding of Australian payroll laws and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, HR, or a related field (preferred).
