Job Title: Payroll Expert

The primary function of this role is to manage and process payroll for various entities across Australia and New Zealand. This encompasses the entire end-to-end process, from initial data entry to final payment processing.

Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly and fortnightly payrolls for all assigned entities.
  • Review and approve payroll for other entities where direct payroll is not processed in-house.
  • Handle out-of-cycle payments and adjustment runs as necessary.
  • Manage salary reviews, bonus payments, award increases, novated lease documentation, allowances, and employee details changes.
  • Calculate accurate cessation payments and liabilities.
  • Understand and manage Time & Attendance System data reporting into Excel and reformatting for processing.
  • Maintain Single Touch Payroll (STP) and Inland Revenue reporting and compliance.
  • Manage awards and employment conditions, including Enterprise Agreement (EA) and National Employment Standards (NES) adherence.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in payroll management.
  • Familiarity with Australian payroll laws and tax regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and confidentiality skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, HR, or a related field preferred.
