Electrical Service Technician Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Service Technician to join our team.

This is a full-time permanent position that offers a career move as you set out to achieve big things.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our customers on world-class miners, shuttle cars, and feeder breakers.

Upon joining our team, you will undergo comprehensive training at our manufacturing facility before being dispatched to site with your support.

About This Role

You will be responsible for identifying and resolving electrical engineering problems on-site, working closely with our customers to deliver exceptional results.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on all new mining equipment, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and products.

With a focus on quality and safety, you will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to these values, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.

Key Requirements
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety.
  • An Electrical Trade qualification.
  • Experience in mining manufacturing and engineering or similar heavy engineering environments with an emphasis on field applications.
  • Exposure to mining systems and applications.
  • Experience in new product introduction for mining systems or heavy mobile machinery.
  • A working knowledge of mining system planning and operation at a mine site.
  • Knowledge of field engineering problem identification and resolution processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of appropriate Australian Standards, Mines Department regulations, and Hazardous Area Standards.
