Electrical Assembler Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team in Torbanlea. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-class project, working with cutting-edge technology and a passionate team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in the electrical assembly, testing, and commissioning of next-generation railcars. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing precise electrical and electronic measurements
  • Installing electrical looms and components according to engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Conducting thorough electrical testing, measurement, and fault finding to ensure system integrity and performance
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet production and quality targets

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or Equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of electrical rollingstock systems, manufacturing processes, and specialized equipment from production to electrical testing and commissioning
  • The ability to dismantle, repair, replace, assemble, and fit engineering components
  • Skilled in precision electrical and electronic measurement techniques
  • Experience in terminating and connecting electrical wiring, including electrical crimping
  • Exposure and experience in fault finding and diagnostic procedures
  • Good communication skills for effective collaboration
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent time management and forward-thinking skills
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
