Senior Program Coordinator

This is a key role in providing comprehensive project management support to Academic Skills, English Language teams and Enabling program initiatives. The Project Officer will be responsible for promoting initiatives, communications, ensuring evaluation mechanisms and frameworks, report writing, fostering key internal and external relationships, and ensuring the smooth coordination of activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate English Language and Academic Skills initiatives and Enabling Pre-university programs to achieve operational and strategic goals, evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, and prepare reports accordingly.
- Monitor progress and track milestones and deliverables in alignment with time, cost, and quality metrics, identify risks, and implement mitigating solutions where applicable.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of plans to improve the quality, efficacy, and scalability of Academic Skills and English Language support tools, resources, and opportunities.
- In collaboration with team members and the Head, Student Learning, develop promotional plans for initiatives.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven experience in project administration and coordination with an understanding of the project life cycle and development of project plans and objectives including managing expenditure, logistics, promotions, communications, reporting, and meeting documentation.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, including proven ability to develop presentations and reports and the ability to research and analyse material and summarise key issues.
- Demonstrated ability to support change within a complex organisational environment, experience within an educational setting is desirable.
- Strong service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated success building and maintaining positive professional relationships with staff at all levels, both internally and externally, as well as student partners.
- Advanced organisational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail with proven ability to work to strict deadlines and manage competing demands.
- Ability to create communication plans and promotional materials.
