About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Premium and Credit Account Manager to provide exceptional customer-focused premium and credit management services for our Workers Compensation clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Process renewals and annual adjustments to premium, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Identify and report risks that may impact the business, providing proactive solutions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Understand and comply with policies and procedures for securing and handling company and client information, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Achieve monthly productivity levels as designated by management, meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Analyse and forecast client premium projections, providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Respond to premium-related queries via telephone, written correspondence, or client visits, delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain accurate employer information and workplace details, ensuring up-to-date records.
  • Accurately assess and allocate Workers Compensation Industry Classifications, Premium Calculations, Succession & Grouping, and resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Create arrangements for premium repayment in line with GBS and VWA guidelines, ensuring timely and efficient collections.
  • Comply with the Accident Compensation Act 1985, Premiums Order, and other relevant legislative requirements, staying up-to-date with regulatory changes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Proactively manage the debtor position, maintaining external business relationships and ensuring timely payments.
  • Attend internal and external training courses to update technical knowledge and personal development, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Control the value, number, age, and proportion of outstanding premium, maintaining scheme benchmarks and ensuring compliance.
  • Investigate legal recovery action as required, taking proactive steps to resolve issues and minimize losses.
  • Accept and complete other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Team Manager and Operations Manager.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Premium and Credit Account Manager with:

  • Workers Compensation/Premium and Credit Management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience in a client service role, with excellent customer service skills and a strong focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Knowledge of general business and administrative practices, with a solid understanding of industry-specific regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • PC literate, with proficiency in Database and Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Industry-specific qualifications highly regarded, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills highly regarded, with a passion for sharing knowledge and expertise with others.
