Equipment Maintenance Specialist

The Equipment Maintenance Specialist will oversee the execution of all repair and maintenance works required across the national network of equipment. This role will involve working closely with internal teams to review, scope and finalize works, prioritize, schedule and book all reported issues received.

  • Maintain an up-to-date log of repair and maintenance activities, including job status, contractor performance and key issues.
  • Review, scope and finalize works to then prioritize, schedule and book all reported issues received.
  • Assess safety risks of issues raised and coordinate the closure of sites for high-risk items, while escalating to management.
  • Ensure that any issues arising from hazards reported are fully resolved and formally closed.
  • Review and implement work order documentation processes to ensure consistency across scopes of work, contractor submissions and close-out reporting.
  • Contractor Management - obtaining all documentation required by the business and stakeholders for engagement with contractors.
  • Collation of site documentation including, but not limited to, site plans, scope of works briefs, safety documents etc.
  • Coordination of updates to senior project managers and other internal teams.
  • Ensuring software/tools are kept up to date to provide transparency and regular communications with other teams.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years in Project Management experience within construction (or similar)
  • Experience with internal and external stakeholder management and excellent interpersonal skills conducive to building effective relationships.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and MS Project.
  • High-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice and guidelines.
