About the Role
The Service Quote Writer coordinates and finalises Toyota equipment repair quotes, assisting service representatives with quotes for tyre replacements and customer damage repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and contractors for accurate pricing.
- Liaise with rental managers and service departments for accurate invoicing.
- Follow-up outstanding quotations for improved customer service.
- Compile and complete all quotes accurately and on time.
- Identify necessary parts and labour for repairs.
- Update databases and systems for correct data.
Requirements
- Trade or mechanical background with experience in field or workshop settings.
- Solid experience in spare parts departments and system knowledge.
- Microsoft product experience (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP system expertise.
- Negotiation and communication skills with management and customers.
- Experience with high-volume purchase orders and quote processing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
