Job Overview

The Infrastructure Financial Analyst role is responsible for financial modelling, analytical work and asset management. This includes macro / market and sectoral research, individual investment due diligence and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial analysis (including financial modelling, sensitivity and scenario analysis)
  • Valuation analysis (new opportunities and coordination of periodic independent valuations of portfolio assets)
  • Investment review and risk analysis
  • Investment due diligence including numerical analysis of investment performance, external consultant management and material legal agreement negotiation
  • Industry relationship management
  • Asset management responsibilities including board meeting preparation, internal monitoring checklists and quarterly valuations, client reporting
  • Sector, market and economic condition monitoring and assessment
  • Task dependent travel may be required

Requirements

Strong numerical skills are essential, with advanced financial modelling and analysis experience, Excel and analytical skills required. Additionally, strong verbal, written, presentation and time management skills are necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Infrastructure industry knowledge and key trends
  • Accounting and valuation expertise
  • Due diligence skills
  • Commercial acumen and ability to identify and critically analyse business issues and strategy
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, including Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to participate in projects, prioritise tasks, establish timelines and complete or adjust as needed
