Job Overview

This role involves portfolio prioritization, investment planning, and governance support within the government sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a Portfolio Prioritization Framework to enhance investment planning and decision-making processes.
  • Create practical prioritization tools using relevant frameworks and methodologies.
  • Provide advice on infrastructure portfolio planning, including demand forecasting, cost-benefit analysis, and program balancing.
  • Advise senior executives and stakeholders, facilitating workshops and briefings with authority and confidence.
  • Build organizational capability by developing tools, templates, training, and guidance material.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to embed evidence-based and disciplined prioritization practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Business, Economics or related disciplines are highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in government infrastructure investment planning or capital portfolio management.
  • Experience working in complex organizations or government agencies.
  • Background in public sector reform, business transformation, or applying prioritization and decision-making frameworks in infrastructure or planning contexts.
