About Us

At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.

About the Role

We're on a journey to improve how we translate strategy into measurable execution, in support of our Bank We Are Building strategy. As part of this journey, we're rolling out a consistent, at-scale approach to OKRs. This includes the development and implementation of frameworks, governance, reporting, tooling, and other processes needed to embed OKRs effectively across all Divisions and enable Group Executive oversight, reporting and insights into performance against strategy.

As a Strategic Alignment Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful rollout and adoption of OKRs at scale at ANZ. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing frameworks, governance, reporting, tooling, and other processes to embed OKRs effectively. Additionally, the Strategic Alignment Manager will provide support, coaching, and education to employees on how to create, manage, and report on OKRs within their teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement OKR frameworks to create and maintain comprehensive frameworks for setting, managing, and reporting OKRs across the organization.
  • Establish governance structures and reporting mechanisms to ensure consistent and accurate tracking of OKRs.
  • Identify and implement the necessary tools and processes to support the effective adoption and management of OKRs.
  • Provide ongoing support and coaching to employees, helping them understand and adopt OKRs within their teams.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on the principles and best practices of OKRs.
  • Analyse and provide insights on OKR performance to the company's management board, helping them assess progress against strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and integration of OKRs with overall business objectives.

What We're Looking For

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • A strong understanding of OKRs and their application in a business setting.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing frameworks for performance management or similar initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyse data and provide insights on performance metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and provide training.
  • Experience in providing coaching and support to employees in adopting new processes or methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of OKRs.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry and its specific challenges and requirements.
  • Knowledge of tools and software used for managing OKRs and performance metrics.

Why Join Us

At ANZ, you'll be part of an organisation where the different backgrounds, perspectives and life experiences of our people are celebrated.
