Job Title:

A Dedicated EALD Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated teacher to join our team as an English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD) Teacher. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.

As an EALD Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning needs of our students who require additional assistance with their English language skills. You will work closely with classroom teachers and curriculum leaders to develop and implement effective strategies to support student learning and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and meaningful English language learning activities that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Mentor and support colleagues in developing their understanding and skills in teaching EALD students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness and making recommendations for future learning.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A four-year trained teaching qualification.
  • Active NESA Accreditation.
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
