Product Development Lead for AWS Service

We are seeking a seasoned product leader to own the vision for a brand-new AWS Service.
The successful candidate will drive the development of a new AWS Service that allows customers to acquire and manage software products, working closely with internal users, software engineering teams, and external customers to understand their needs.
Key responsibilities include owning the working backwards process, defining user personas, identifying pain points, and proposing solutions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with developer tools and enterprise software procurement processes, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and analytical rigor in decision making.
About the team
We're a tight-knit group of product managers and UX designers supporting our larger engineering organization worldwide. We pride ourselves on ownership, knowledge sharing, and frequent virtual sync-ups.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of product development, with cross-team execution across UX design, engineering, program management, and internal/external stakeholders
A strong track record of taking a product from conception to launch, iterating on the product based on user feedback, conducting customer/market research, identifying opportunities, creating a product vision, and influencing stakeholders across the organization
Strong writing skills to influence senior executives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics
Experience with building applications using AWS Services, authoring documents related to product lifecycle, running user research, A/B tests, and optimizing the customer experience

Estimated salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
