Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented auditor to join our team. As an Intermediate Auditor, you will be responsible for conducting audits in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial statements, auditing principles, and regulatory requirements. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

About The Job
  • Prepare and execute audit assignments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Undertake preliminary reviews of client data, identifying potential issues for further investigation.
  • Conduct substantive tests of transactions and balances, raising concerns and/or adjustments as necessary.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards.
  • Draft management letters and audit reports for review by senior managers.
  • Develop clear, concise, and well-presented workpapers.
About You
  • You must have demonstrated knowledge of superannuation principles, strategies, and legislation.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally accompanied by commenced CA qualifications or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in external audit, preferably from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
  • You should possess a client-centric approach, with a curiosity to understand business operations.
  • Excellent project and time management skills, enabling you to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A great team player, able to work independently when required.
  • High attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
