We're seeking a skilled Equity Options Volatility Trader to join our team. As a key player in our fast-growing APAC region operation, you will be responsible for developing and executing equity options trading strategies across single stocks.


Your Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your expertise to craft tailored equity options trading approaches that leverage market dynamics, volatility, and flow.
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers, software engineers, and execution specialists to optimize pricing, hedging, and risk management strategies.
  • Make informed decisions based on real-time market data and contribute to the evolution of our equity options trading desk.
  • Mentor junior traders and share your knowledge to foster a culture of excellence within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience managing an equity options book focused on the Hong Kong market at a reputable firm or institution.
  • A proven track record of success in directional or volatility-based strategies.
  • An in-depth understanding of options Greeks, volatility surfaces, and market microstructure.
  • A confident decision-maker with a solid risk framework and entrepreneurial mindset.
