At Anton Murray Consulting, we are looking for a Senior Business Strategist to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time employment opportunity that requires driving industry-related innovation to advance the interests of all stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced leader who can inspire and motivate through communication, implement growth opportunities, and drive the business to develop and implement its strategies and cross-sell opportunities to the wider Group.

The successful candidate will have previous General Management or Senior level Strategy experience with a high growth company, as well as deep knowledge and experience in the securities and equity capital markets industry.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Chairman and Group CEO, overseeing budgeting, developing and executing strategies, plans and policies, and working with sales teams and marketing to execute opportunities and cross-sell opportunities within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving industry-related innovation to advance the interests of all stakeholders.
  • Working with a professional team to grow the business.
  • Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders (Group business leaders, investors, investor networks, issuers, stockbrokers, media, business partners etc.).
  • Oversight of communications to all key stakeholders.
  • Providing business requirements and working with project teams for improvements to operations and technology.
  • Developing and executing strategies, plans and policies, including overseeing budgeting.
  • Working with sales team and marketing to execute opportunities and cross-sell opportunities within the business and deliver on sales opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Previous General Management or Senior level Strategy experience with a high growth company.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in the securities and equity capital markets industry.
  • An ability to inspire and motivate through communication.
  • Detail-oriented, commercially astute, reliable, and self-motivated.
  • Proven expertise in planning and execution, including responding to sector transformation, diversifying revenue streams, and crafting solutions.

Estimated Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
