Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Management Professional to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cost plans and project capital estimates through the design phase, delivering updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
- Prepare and present cost reports and estimate packages to stakeholders.
- Provide commercial input to design optioneering and value engineering exercises.
- Deliver quality work and position for new opportunities.
- Work proactively with minimal supervision.
Requirements
- With Defence clearance or Australian Citizenship as minimum.
- Quantity Surveying, or related, degree.
- > 5 years' experience.
- AIQS or RICS member is ideal but not essential.
- Experience in CostX is preferred.
- Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Experience preparing Cost Management estimates and reports.
- Experience with advising clients on value management, and value engineering.
- Experience with key aspects of business development.
- Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, and be a team player.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Drive to be proactive and self-motivated.
- Ability to develop good working relationships with project teams.
- Leadership skills, ability to manage juniors in team.
