Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our team in the Real Estate sector. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing projects, leading a team of cost managers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects in the Real Estate sector, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Lead a team of cost managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure profitability and commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with the full cost management team in NSW and ACT to provide support and expertise.
  • Enhance our benchmarking and Hive capabilities to drive business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of sector reports and deliverables, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, managing expectations and providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Maintain the highest standards of governance and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cost management roles, with a focus on consultancy work.
  • Proven track record of managing clients, contractors, and consultants directly.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to apply cost management principles to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to respond swiftly to change and adapt to new situations.
