Senior Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager - ANUM in the Urology/Vascular ward. This is a full-time position that requires a strong clinical background and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate a Learning Culture: Ensure continuous improvement by promoting a culture of learning and development within the ward.
- Maintain Professional Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with VMO partners, using a customer service mindset to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
- Clinical Operational Direction: Provide strategic direction for the unit, ensuring efficient and effective management of nursing care.
- Resource Management: Be accountable for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Clinical Audits and Quality Improvement: Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Mentoring and Development: Mentor staff and provide opportunities for growth and development.
HealthcareLink Support is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, providing care to over 1.2 million people across Melbourne's east and outer east. Our hospital features a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including complex surgeries.
About You- Current Registration: Hold current registration with AHPRA.
- Working with Children's Check: Possess a valid Working with Children's Check.
- ANUM or Clinical Nurse Specialist Experience: Have current or previous experience as an ANUM or Clinical Nurse Specialist (desirable).
- Clinical Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and skills, with 3 years of clinical/surgical experience.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shifts.
- Customer Service Focus: Demonstrate an excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritization skills.
