Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management

- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
- Clinical Operations
- Provide clinical operational direction for the unit, ensuring efficient and effective management of nursing care.
- Coordinate the delivery of nursing care that is evidence-based and aligned with organizational standards.
- Quality and Safety
- Be accountable and responsible for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Staff Development and Support
- Undertake direct patient care, as required, and mentor staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
Our hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne's east and outer east. We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including complex surgeries.
About You- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children's check
- Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)
- Sound clinical knowledge and 3 years of clinical/surgical experience
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shifts
- Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritization skills
