Senior Nurse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager - ANUM in the Urology/Vascular ward. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for facilitating a learning culture, maintaining professional relationships, and providing clinical operational direction.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate a Learning Culture: Ensure continuous improvement by promoting a culture of learning and development.
- Maintain Professional Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with VMO partners, using a customer service mindset to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
- Provide Clinical Operational Direction: Coordinate the delivery of nursing care, ensuring efficient and effective management.
- Manage Resources: Be accountable for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Drive Quality Improvement: Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor Staff: Provide guidance and support to staff members.
Our hospital is a leading private hospital in Victoria, providing care to over 1.2 million people across Melbourne's east and outer east. We offer a range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including complex surgeries, and are backed by the latest technology and expertise.
About You- Registration: Current registration with AHPRA.
- Working with Children's Check: Current check.
- Experience: Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable).
- Clinical Knowledge: Sound clinical knowledge.
- Experience: 3 years of clinical/surgical experience.
- Compliance: Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
- Role Modelling: Positive role modelling behaviours.
- Roster: Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shifts.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritisation.
