Senior Registered Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) in a full-time capacity. As an ANUM, you will be responsible for facilitating a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement and maintaining professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate a Learning Culture: Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the unit.
- Maintain Professional Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with VMO partners, utilizing a customer service mindset to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Provide Clinical Operational Direction: Coordinate the delivery of nursing care, ensuring efficient and effective management of the unit.
- Manage Resources: Be accountable for the effective daily management of human, financial, and material resources.
- Drive Quality Improvement: Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
- Undertake Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care as required.
- Mentor Staff: Mentor and support staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.

Requirements- Current Registration: Current registration with AHPRA.
- Working with Children's Check: Current Working with Children's check.
- ANUM or Clinical Nurse Specialist Experience: Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable).
- Clinical Knowledge: Sound clinical knowledge.
- Experience: 3 years of clinical/surgical experience.
- Compliance: Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive Role Modelling: Positive role modelling behaviours.
- Flexibility: Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM/PM/ND shifts.
- Customer Service Focus: Excellent customer service focus, time management, and prioritization.
