About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our Engineering Solutions team in Southbank, Victoria. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and providing cost estimates for major projects, working closely with Engineering Solutions, Project Managers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and provide accurate cost estimates for major projects, adhering to company standards and delivery timeframes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Solutions, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Provide technical engineering, cost advice, and quality technical support to the team and broader department.
  • Review technical requirements, identify technical risks, and allocate budget as needed.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication among project and program stakeholders.
  • Manage and review the production of estimations from project initiation to close-out.
Requirements
  • Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering qualification, with proven experience considered.
  • Significant experience in civil, electrical, transmission, and/or distribution industry.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously, with proven ability to work in a team environment.
  • Considerable knowledge of other engineering disciplines and their impacts on civil, structural design, and construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to create, build, and grow relationships and business partnerships.
  • High level of organizational skills, effectively handling multiple tasks, setting priorities, managing timeframes, and meeting deadlines under pressure.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of various Australian standards, including civil, structural, substation, and Transmission/Distribution.
  • Knowledge of Expert Estimation software preferred.
