The Commercial Lawyer role at Limber offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in contract law and procurement to support the success of our client. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all contracts are compliant with relevant regulations and laws.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Contract Review and Advice: Conduct thorough reviews of Request for Tender (RFT) documents, addenda, and high-value or high-risk contracts to provide expert advice on their compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaboration with Procurement Specialists: Work closely with procurement and probity specialists to ensure a streamlined approach to the procurement process, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Contract Negotiation and Dispute Resolution: Support contract negotiations and provide expert advice on contractual disputes, ensuring that all agreements are fair and equitable.
  • Template Development and Review: Assist in reviewing and developing templates for contracts, grants, whole-of-government agreements, international organisations, partner government agreements, and internal approval documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lawyer who is well-versed in Commonwealth procurement law, particularly under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (Cth). Your extensive knowledge of contract law, coupled with your ability to work effectively with stakeholders, will be invaluable in this role.
