About the Role

Kuehne + Nagel AS is seeking a dedicated Contract Logistics Operational Contract Manager to join our growing Contract Logistics Team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the overall performance of an operational account, ensuring the achievement of all agreed financial and operational objectives.
  • Direct and coordinate warehouse activities at the site, ensuring the availability and maintenance of all necessary material and equipment to support operations.
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customer service, and profit.
  • Ensure teams deliver against customer, site, and people KPIs.
  • Collaborate with customers on onboarding, retention, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Drive productivity through engagement activities, focusing on continuous improvement and ensuring contracts meet or exceed productivity targets.
  • Contribute to tender and proposal activities to support the closure of new business.
  • Prepare and present customer updates and financial reports.
  • Train and develop teams to ensure robust succession planning.
  • Liaise with internal support resources and external providers.
Requirements
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a local transport or 3PL organization.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Solid understanding of safety processes and protocols.
