Key Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, and dressing with dignity and respect.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and ensure clients stay on track with their health.
  • Mobility Support: Help transfer individuals using hoists and slide sheets, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Domestic Duties: Take charge of domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Community Engagement: Engage clients in their communities by attending doctor's appointments, grocery shopping, and participating in social or recreational activities they love.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle are required.
  • First Aid and CPR: Current First Aid and CPR certificates are necessary.
  • Blue Card: A Blue Card (Working with Children Card) is required.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check: An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities) is necessary.
  • Commitment to Infection Prevention and Control: A commitment to infection prevention and control measures, including PPE use as directed, is required.
  • Smartphone: A smartphone with iOS 13.0 and up or Android 6.0 and up is necessary.
