Job Title: Domestic Support Worker



We are seeking a reliable and passionate Domestic Support Worker to join our team at Right at Home Central Queensland. As a Domestic Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality domestic cleaning services to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist clients with domestic cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
  • Work within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each client.
  • Observe, care, and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the client.
  • Respond to emergency situations as required.


Requirements:




  • Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • Compassionate and respectful attitude towards clients, including individuals with disabilities and seniors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions in English.


Essential Criteria:




  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
  • Blue Card / Yellow Card.
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence.
  • Own Vehicle and Comprehensive car insurance.
