Job Opportunity for Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our community-based team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions and capacities through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and formulate goals that align with each participant's needs.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Offer support and advice on environmental adaptations to ensure participants' safety and independence.
  • Recommend assistive technology to help participants overcome functional limitations and maintain their independence.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by continuous improvement and a desire to learn from new ideas.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
