We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our community-based team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our participants.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct assessments to evaluate participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions and capacities through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and formulate goals that align with each participant's needs.
- Provide evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes.
- Offer support and advice on environmental adaptations to ensure participants' safety and independence.
- Recommend assistive technology to help participants overcome functional limitations and maintain their independence.
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude, motivated by continuous improvement and a desire to learn from new ideas.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
