You will be part of a multidisciplinary team taking a holistic care approach to support individuals who have sustained an injury. Your clinical expertise will enable you to develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans focused on service delivery outcomes.
This role involves working with various stakeholders including medical specialists, treatment providers and allied health professionals. You will need to perform assessments such as functional capacity evaluations, worksite and ergonomic assessments.
A key aspect of this position is collaboration and teamwork. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless service delivery. Strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical reasoning skills and be able to engage across multidisciplinary teams to achieve a common goal. They will also have a genuine passion to help people rehabilitate.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assess and provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients
- To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver a comprehensive service
- To develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans
- To conduct workplace assessments and provide recommendations for modifications
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with relevant industry bodies (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA or AASW)
- Australian Citizenship
- Strong clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
