
Cinema Team Leader

We're seeking an experienced and skilled cinema assistant manager to join our team. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cinema, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and driving revenue growth.
As an assistant manager, you will assist in monitoring and enhancing customer service activities, controlling daily operations, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and yield per patron. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with local council inspections and audits.
Your primary focus will be on leading and coaching our team members, providing guidance and support to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with the general manager to facilitate recruitment, induction, and training of new staff members, aligning with our current training processes.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. Your ability to analyze sales figures, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective action will be essential in driving revenue growth and profitability.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including movie session scheduling, customer service, and revenue management.
- Lead and coach team members to achieve exceptional customer experiences and drive revenue growth.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local council inspections and audits.
- Analyze sales figures, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective action.
Requirements:
We are looking for an individual with 1-3 years' supervisory experience in a retail, food service, or hospitality/leisure environment, preferably with sales figures experience. Senior First Aid Certification, RSA (Relevant to state/territory requirements), RMLV (Relevant to state/territory requirements), and Approved Manager Licence (Relevant to state/territory requirements) are essential qualifications for this role.
