About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Data and Analytics Associate to lead the expansion of our business into the research space, focusing on environmental data and business analytics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental issues and be able to lead our analytics team, working closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain our analytics systems and infrastructure, working closely with IT consultants as needed.
- Hire, manage, and train additional analytics associates or data analysts as required.
- Utilize analytical methods to assess environmental policy issues and prepare studies and written materials for clients.
- Work with partners to develop analysis and reporting tools, especially around ESG frameworks and business metrics.
- Manage relationships with environmental and business stakeholders, including clients and government agencies.
- 5+ years of experience in data and analytics, preferably with a related degree.
- Demonstrated experience in environmental policy, sustainability, and climate change.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Python, R, SQL, or other analytics-related programming languages.
- Experience with GIS software and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
