
Professional Finance Team Leader

The role of a Team Lead is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance team. This includes ensuring the smooth processing of accounts payable, credit card administration, customer invoicing, and accounts receivable.
The Team Lead will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing operating procedures, working closely with the Finance Manager to achieve month-end close and financial audit objectives.
In addition, the Team Lead will oversee people management functions including recruitment, training, motivation, performance assessment, and performance management for direct reports.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 6 employees covering accounts payable, credit card administration, customer invoicing, and accounts receivable.
- Maintain and enforce operating procedures.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager on month-end close and financial audits.
- Oversee people management functions including recruitment, training, and performance management.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, including Excel.
Diploma or other tertiary qualifications in an accounting-related discipline.
Experience in a corporate finance function, including supplier invoice processing, global intercompany transactions, credit card/expense claim systems, online banking tools, end-of-month accounting, and general ledger reconciliations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels.
Ability to work as an effective team member in a professional environment.
